WHEN YOU have a dog that produces well you may if you desire try to finish (OBTAIN AN AMERICAN KENNEL CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP) on that dog and then when you have puppies with that dog, YOU put AKC championships on as many of that dog's puppies as possible to earn a this very prestigious title, Registry of Merit Breeder. We have produced two Registry of Merit females!

Males can have many puppies, and are able to be a sire many champions making your ability to put a Registry of Merit on a male an easier undertaking. Females must produce as well if not better than males to earn this title. We realized early on, that Bajor and Spirit had what it took to produce Champions, and so the quest started. Not only do you have to produce pretty puppies that embody the structure and the talent to show, you need to take them out and obtain those championships. In Bajor's case ever point was earned with owner handled dogs. We did use a professional once or twice because we did not have enough hands to show all the dogs in the same class.
